Gearing Up for Increased Demand

China Remains a Key Market

China remained ASML's second-largest market in 2023, following Taiwan, accounting for 29% of sales, slightly ahead of South Korea. Approximately 20% of ASML's total revenue is generated from servicing installed machines.

Succession Planning at ASML

Despite its substantial size and role in the global chipmaking industry, ASML's succession planning has been relatively smooth, with no major drama reported.

Latest Financial Results

In its latest financial report, ASML confirmed its expectation to grow towards 30% in 2023. The company's Q4 net sales reached 72 billion, with a gross margin of 51.4% and a net income of 20 billion. Quarterly net bookings in Q4 amounted to 92 billion, of which 56 billion was EUV.

High-NA EUV Machine Pricing

The first model of ASML's high-NA extreme ultraviolet lithography machine, known as Twinscan EXE5200, is expected to be priced between 250 million and 275 million, according to Oddo BHF analysts.

Stock Performance
